AfterEffects CS6 crashes in Vista

Alright, bear with me as I go through the tedious checklist.

Updated with Application Manager to latest version: 11.0.2

Windows Vista 64-bit Service Pack 2

Simply crashes while trying to open. No new programs have been installed since I last ran AfterEffects, however I have applied updates to my adobe products.

I'll get the splash screen, and then near abot the end of the "cleaning up" portion, I get a Windows error saying that "Adobe After Effects CS6 has stopped working".

Here is the latest trace from the Event Viewer in the Computer Management console:

I've attempted a reinstall, with clearing preferences. That hasn't helped one bit. To be honest, I don't use it often either, I just kinda found a need for it now, probably haven't used it since.... mid-March? Yes, I have Quicktime installed (7.7.3), and regardless if I close down all of my programs, it still occurs.
