Twitch Goes Way Too Fast?

I started using the VideoCopilot twitch effect and it works great at first, but now it seems to twitch way too fast. Modifying the speed and amount doesn't help at all.

I have tried reinstalling but that didn't help. Thanks.

On a side note, what are the best settings to remove ghosting from Twixtor?
