Can anybody help me open an AE CS5.5 project in CS 6 and CC?
A couple of years ago, I created an After Effect template with CS5.5, which works great in CS5 (thanks to backwards compatibility) and CS5.5 (of course). The problem is that when I try to open it in After Effects CS6 or in After Effects CC, my computer sounds like its going to die! All the fans start to work really fast and After Effects crashes. I spent a lot of time working on this project and it is a shame that I can't use it anymore! I have tried in vain (so far) to find a solution! The only external plugin required by my template is Sure Target 2. But I doubt that it is the problem. Rather, I suspect that the issue is the shatter effect.
Would anybody like to have a go? I can send you the template if you are interested in this challenge.
