Hi all,
First let me say that I'm just starting to use AE. I've done everything in PP so far but I think I might have reached the creative wall and need to integrate AE into my workflow.
I'm thinking that what I want to do is a combo of the 2 but not sure which will do what.
This is what I'm trying to do:
Video running on the first layer.
On top of that I want a black mask so that only a circle of the video shows in the center.
On top of the black circle mask I want to run other animations, graphics and video that have a transparent mask to reveail the circle of video below.
It's a music video and the circle maks will run the entore legnth of the video with numerous cuts to both the black mask overlays and the main video belwow.
As you'll see the screenshot I want the black areas to fil with these other clips in different blending modes..
How would you do this?
