Current time indicator sound

Hi.
I am trying to make an animated lyric video by this tutorial http://ae.tutsplus.com/tutorials/motion-graphics/design-rhythmic-motio n-typography-in-after-effects/ but when i move the current time indicator, it does not make any sound - and that is what i need for timing.
What can i do?
