My CS6 AE app will no longer function. All other CS6 apps work.
When I select AE CS6 from my dock, the startup loading image does not appear BUT the After Effects menu appears in the apple menu bar. Each drop down menu is greyed out.
When I select AE CS6 from the application folder, the startup loading image does not appear BUT the After Effects menu appears in the apple menu bar. This time the drop down menu is not greyed out, however, when I try to select something like "new project", nothing happens.
I have uninstalled this app and reinstalled and have loaded the most recent update but I am encountering the same issue.
The same issue is happening with AE CS5 as well.
I have a Macbook Pro 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i7 with 16Gb of memory and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M installed.
The only changes to my system over the last couple of days have been the installation of a Wacom Intuos Pro Driver (which I installed before the AE fail) and CUDA Driver Version: 5.5.28 (which I installed after the AE fail).
I need to use the program now.
Can you please help?
