How can I Edit multiple clips in After Effects in the same workspace?

I was wondering if you can put 2 or more  clips into after effects and have it play through the whole thing without stopping. When I put multiple clips into after effects, it stops halfway through the 2nd clip and goes back to the beginning. How can I edit multiple multiple Call of Duty game clips at once, in the same workspace?. If someone can tell me how to put multiple clips  and be able to edit them all at once, please let me know. i am new on After Effecfs, so plase try to explain it well.
