Exporting Avid timeline into AE cc , IMX30 issue.

first post here.

I am trying to export a timeline from avid newscutter 9.5.3 into after effect cc.

My method is aaf with embedded video .

Video is imx30 sd pal and i get the video looks all messed up .
Other codecs like dnxhd 90 or dv 25 420 get good result but i do not wish to transcode.

Is there such a workflow?

any thoughts?
