Make Northern light and turn into Logo

Hi there wizards!

I'm working on my project and I need to make something that looks like the Northern light.

I think I'm going to do this with Trapcode form in After effects.

But my problem is, how can I turn the Smog effect (Northern Light) turn into a logo on a very organic way.

Like a smokey morph.

If you got tutorials that could help me out or a different technique, I would like to hear that
