Trouble loading standard workspace

I use After Effects CC (OS Mavericks), and when I try to change from any of the workspaces to the 'standard' workspace, I get the error message:

"After Effects warning: Error parsing properties list from file "/Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.2/ModifiedWorkspaces/UserWorkspace1.xml."

I've checked for updates, and it seems like my version is current. How can I fix this so I can use the 'standard' workspace shortcut?
