Previously posted on the PP forum, but suggested that I enquire here...
I will be involved in a live event in which I have to produce some play-in content for a 50 metre screen (13,998 x 1080 px). This will comprise 8 HD projectors playing in the source material, so full-screen video content will be split into 8 sections. Each of the 8 screens overlaps with soft-edge to achieve a seemless join. The splitting is created in Watchout 5.
I have been asked to supply outputs as h.264 mov files, but have been told subsequently that is out-of-spec for h.264.
Question: Does anyone have any experience at creating content with custom screen sizes - especially on this scale - to be used with Watchout, or similar? Is it simply a case of producing a custom template and editing as usual, or is there more to it than that?
Thanks.
