I formatted my computer a few days ago and just finished setting everything back up. After that I continued to install After Effects CS6. Upon initial launch, I was given errors "Quicktime is not installed on this system...etc..", "After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <4488> <DynamicLink> <5> D:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS6\Support Files\32\dynamiclinkmanager.exe", and "After Effects can't continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed... ( 0::42 ). Finally, I get a Windows Dialogue saying that Adobe After Effects CS6 has stopped working. I don't know why this is happening suddenly, because it worked perfectly before I formatted my computer.
I have:
- Reinstalled After Effects
- Reinstalled Quicktime
- Updated After Effects
- Updated Graphics Card Drivers
- Used the Creative Suite Cleaning Tool and then reinstalled After Effects
My system specs:
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
- Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.4GHz (not overclocked)
- 16384MB RAM
- eVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
- Intel 520 Series SSD (128GB)
- Hitachi Green 64MB Cache 1TB SATA Hard Drive
