Good morning,
Last week, someone stated they were planning to edit a full length feature film using After Effects.
He was discouraged from doing so by one of the forum's most knowledgeable members and it was stated that AE is more designed for short clips.
I've searched for 15 minutes for the original thread, but cannot find it, including a search for recent posts using the term "feature" and "feature film", with no success.
I'm starting to enjoy After Effects and I guess I don't understand why it might not be recommended for longer works, such as my 20 minute film, if it produces such great results for one minute clips.
Looks like I will be using a production codec of ProRes.
Any thoughts on this?
