when i insert text and camera using 3d camera tracker, text box is far away from anchor point

when i insert text and camera using 3d camera tracker, the text baox is very far away from the anchor point. yet, the anchor

point settings remain at zero.

if i insert a solid using 3cd camera tracker, the new solid is spot on the anchor point.

using v11.0.2.12

i'm baffled. see below. thanks for the help
