On After Effects CC v13.7.16, it tells me CUDA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 is not supported. The Post is "unsupported GPU enabled for CUDA acceleration".
Why?

Hello all,
First off, I'm a complete noob at both AI and AE.
I have version CS6 of both, from the CS6 Production Premium package.
I was given a AI file of a logo. I'm wanting to animate it in AE with 3D. Following tutorials out there..I know I need to get everything into separate layers...each component of the logo.
I've ungrouped things, and I've done the release to layers (segments) option and it appears that everything is in its own layer.
I've selected and moved all these layers out of the containing layer to their own top level layers. (I hope I"m using the correct terminology).
I've saved this file.
In After Effects, I import this in as a composition. I double click the comp, and it seems to open just fine in the timeline as all the different layers.
However, as soon as I try to select one or more of them and use the menu option -> Create Shapes from Vector layer.
I get the error screen saying:
So i just used Adobe illustrator for a time and finished my logos. Now i opened After effects to make an intro. So i opened it up, Then it showed strat up picture, in 2sec most of the picture becomes black, 10 more seconds and windows says program has crashed. Even task manager approves it.
My system specs:
CPU: 2 core overclocked Pentium G3258 ( It is powerful enought to handle premiere and photoshop
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750ti SuperOC ( Drivers updated)
RAM: 8GB.
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit.
I have the latest PP and AE 2015.0.1 Release (updated today Sept 2015). I have created a premier pro project with a couple of Multi Camera Source sequences and a music track. I dragged and dropped the Premier Pro sequence into AE.
In AE when I click the sequence I see a yellow waveform below the thumbnail on the top lefthand side, the detail text on the project window also shows that its a 48kHz Stereo audio file.
However when I drag and drop the sequence into the Create Comp button, the new comp thats created doesn't seem to have the audio in it. in the timeline view I click the Audio Chevron, and then the Waveform chevron but I can't see the waveform.
This new version of AE does not have ram preview any longer so if I hit Spacebar or just the play button in the Preview the video plays but I don't hear any audio.
In my Composition Menu if I go to Preview I see that 'Audio' is checked. Also nothing happens if I click Audio Preview.
I've also tried in PP - Render Audio (to render the entire sequence' audio). But that doesn't do it either.
Any ideas?

İ installed AE in my mac. (It is 64 bit and has Os X Yosemite 10.10.5) When its launching it stops down and show a message "After Effects Warning: Unknown Exception" Than it shut down. What should i do?
I use the command-line renderer (aerender) on our farm and I'm seeing an issue with CC 2015 where it doesn't always output the same information to the log. I rely on this output to parse the frame range and give a sense of render progress. The inconsistent log is not limited to a single machine and the log output changes between renders on the same machine. Basically, it's all over the place.
In a normal log, there's a bunch of info after the project loads displaying the current render settings, e.g. quality, resolution, disk cache, color depth, etc. Starting with CC 2015, it would output half of the settings, or maybe just 4 of them, or maybe none of them. You never really know.
Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

I have looked at the features of both After Effects CS6 and CC, as well as weighing the prices, and decided upon purchasing a used version of CS6. However, as soon as I began to search for such a used copy at a reasonable price, I began to see numerous things of some peculiar interest. I noticed multiple websites (such as "filehippo") with "free" downloads of CS6. These sites claimed it was legal and that the software was in fact "freeware", and thus legal to distribute for free. I ran the a few of the sites through an online scam checker, which told me (in the case of filehippo) that the site had been around since 2004 and was a freeware downloading site. I was still unsure of the veracity of the site as well as the legality, and so I decided to contact Adobe here to verify. If the site actually is legal, then I would like to know so I don't spend extravagant amounts of money on purchasing a used copy.

I have 2 pre-comps, 1st pre-comp is made of multiple 3 different types of animating polygon, multiple as in the 1 polygon is duplicated 6 times but placed at different positions, etc. 2nd pre-comp is made of multiple 3 different types of animating circles, now I want to morph the 1st comp into the 2nd comp, is there a straight forward way of doing this?
Credit where it is due, file import over network drives is fixed in the latest update for AE! That one fix alone will save my company about 10k a year in wasted man hours!

AE 2015.2 v.13.7.1.6 (latest update) Doesnt show R3D as a supported file format anymore when importing files? Is this a bug or is there a reason for it?

Following Creative Cloud updating my installation of After Effects to v12.1.0.168 today, I now have a frustrating dialogue box that pops up every time I quit... any ideas? This wasn't happening before AE was updated, and happens even if I have no other applications running. My system is a fairly standard mid-2011 iMac – 3.4GHz i7, 16GB RAM with AMD Radeon HD6970 2GB – and I'm currently still running OS X 10.8.5.
One other new issue is that if I double-click a project file in the Finder to launch After Effects, the project doesn't actually open, only the application.
I've tried rebooting, repairing permissions and also downloaded the 12.1 updater and re-installed just in case there was an issue with the CC download, but all to no avail
