On an earlier post in this forum, I mentioned I had created a character animation in Poser, imported it into C4D, via InterPoser Pro and it played back fine in Poser and C4D. The problem was that when I opened the C4D animation file via Cineware and attempted to do a render in AE - it wouldn't recognize the animation and the animation would not render.
A response I got back in this forum regarding this problem was - "The plug-in simply does not initialize for whatever reason. You would have to convert it to native C4D animation either as a backed hierarchy or PLA."
On C4D forums I've posted a request for information on how to "convert it to native C4D animation either as a backed hierarchy or PLA." I've also researched it in C4D materials. But without any luck. I don't know how to do this and would very much like to learn how to. This could help being able to bring Poser character animations into AE.
How do you "convert it to native C4D animation either as a backed hierarchy or PLA?"
Any suggestions?
