3D Text does not show in Ray-Traced 3D

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion on my work MacPro and have a clean install of AE CS6. When I create a new Text layer in the RayTraced 3D renderer it shows up fine. When I switch that text to 3D it disapears. Any ideas on why it is doing this? I've used the new Ray-Traced renderer quite a bit so I know it's not a set-up issue.

You can try viewing the Active Camera, front, left, whatever and the text is just gone.

Not sure what system info you need but here is some of it. We just ordered this Mac Pro about a 2 months ago. Everything worked fine before we upgraded to Mountain Lion.
