After effects: AEGP Plugin PNGIO Support: Input file doesn’t seem to be a PNG file. (5027 :: 12)

I have a problem with Adobe After Effects (code : 5027 :: 12). This error came out of nowhere while I was creating a visual for my internship. I read every forum and I saw many solutions, but no one helped, so that's why I am opening a new discussion. This is the problem:

Can't stop previews
Hi everyone. I know this was an issue a while ago ... but just lately I'm having the same issue of not being able to top my previews.
The only way I can is to click on another comp tab then it stops.... or by hitting the spacebar a number of times!!! Sometimes like 10 times!
This is incredibly annoying and slows productivity unbelievably, as its very hard to change keyframes/edit etc while it's previewing.
It happens on all my recent projects... even on a simple one layered comp... this issue occurs.
MacPro6,1 12 core 64 GB RAM
OS 10.10.5
After Effects CC 2015.3 Version: 13.8.1.38

Imported Premiere sequence drastically shifting color after save and reopen.
So no matter what i do nothing seems to solve this for me.
Im importing a Premiere sequence into after effects, .R3d and .Mov media.
Im exporting from there to a .PNG Image Sequence.
Everything works fine as long as i complete the project without having to save and reopen the file.
As soon as i reopen the project the colors are all over the place, its sporadic also, each clip is affected differently.
* I have tried multiple workspaces or lack there of.
All help is appreciated!..... please!!

Is macOS Sierra supporting After Effects
Adobe After Effects if not working in the Sierra Update. I tried downloading CS6 and CC but Sierra isn't supporting either.
I have recently updated my laptop and need to use After Effects urgently please help me figure out which version of the same is supported by Sierra. Thank you

2d object passing through ring of fire
Basicly i have to animate a 2d cartoon poster
It's going to be a skateboarder jumping through a ring of fire.
Everything is separated to layers so it's easy to work with
I have no idea how to create the effect of the skateboarder passing through the centre of the ring,
ie. skateboarder passing behind foreground of ring of fire but in front of background of ring
i've tried masking and moving objects relative to each other in 3d space it kinda works
but the skateboarder sort've snaps from behind to in front of ring of fire it doesn't really pass through the centre
the only other way i can think is to make the ring of fire's foreground and background two separate layers
any other suggestion would be appreciated

Video output from After Effects looks pixelated, help?
It looked fine in After Effects but when I render it it looks, like this lol. Really pixelated. What can I do to fix this? Willong to render again if need be.

Cannot update my after effects.
My current version is 11.04, and when i go to help->check for updates it just opens up the creative cloud and shows no updates, but does show an avaible "trial" version of after effects. I got after effects from my school.
Im trying to open a file from a friend that was created on version 13.05 or higher.
Where can i get these updates, when the apps can find them themselves?

Pick whipping to other comps fails
hello everybody,
I am trying to ad to my project an additional comp which I call "Adjustments". This adjustment comp contains shape layers, who's colour are supposed to give the colour for different objects within the project.
So what I basically do is give the relevant elements in the project a fill-effect which I pick whip to a shape layer's fill color in the adjustment comp.
Example:
I did this in previous projects and it worked just fine but in this one I can not pick whip any layer attribute to an element outside of the layers own composition. I always get the following error:
The only problem that I can imagine is that I have a lot time-remapping in this project. Can it be that this interferes in any way? If so, is there any work around?
Appreciate any advise!

AEGP Plugin CINEWARE SceneLayer: CINERENDER - Connection failure (5027 :: 12)
OK, I've searched the Internet for a workable solution and nothing is working.
I'm on Mac OSX 10.10.5
Here are the things I've tried.
Set the port to 5030 in the effects panel.
What's strange is that even when I try to set the port in the Effects panel to 5030, it still notes 5027 in the error message.
I have purged the memory and restarted, and restarted and purged the memory.
I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of CC 2015.
Fixed permissions.
Cineware works fine in CC 2014.
CC 2015 works fine with Cineware on my MacBook Pro.
Not sure where to go from here.
Any ideas?

AE export render color bleed problem
Hi I'm rending my projects for the past week and I'm keep getting color bleed in my render disregard the complexity of the comp, even simple ones with few layers and not effect heavy, and disregard outputting H264 mp4 or PNG sequence, my render gets frequent color bleeds. The frame below I used Optical Flare, others I don't have Optical Flares layer and still get similar result in other comp.
I'm running on i7 5820, 64 GB, MSI GTX 1070, CS6, 3TB HDD
Would using AE CC resolve this issue? I'm wondering if it's Hardware or software issue.

After Effects Pen Tool draws the shape, but does NOT perform a mask
I can draw with the Pen Tool to isolate the area i want, but once I've created the closed shape, the mask isn't taking effect. I have done this many many many times using previous versions of After Effects, so am sure I'm doing it correctly. I watched a video about using the tool in CC 2015 and it looks like it stills operates the same. Why am I not getting the mask?

Is there an equivalent to the "cutout" artistic filter found in Photoshop in After Effects?
Hello world,
I am wondering if there is an equivalent to the "cutout" artistic filter found in Photoshop, in After Effects?
Because I would like to use it for a film that I am making.
The only other option I thought of is to export the film as a sequence of images and manually use the filter on each individual photo; however, that is very inefficient and tedious.
If it exists, how can I get it? Otherwise, any suggestions for how to recreate it?

After Effects Black Screen Crash on Launch
My AE CC 2015.3 works fine for few years and recently when I launched the application, a black screen just show up, rendering my whole computer not responding. The screen just stay black and neither CMD / Alt+F4 / task manager works. Graphic card: GT 750M 4500U.
If there are any feasible solutions, please do share. Thanks!

Clip Speed problems in After Effects CC
Hi guys!
Im working on a project at the moment and i experience heavy clip Speed problems. That means that whenever I import a clip in my composition, After Effects plays certain parts of the clip too fast. In the preview as well as in the rendered and exported file. I tried a lot of things (e.g. changing and aligning fps) but nothing helped. When I open the clip in e.g. Quicktime everything is normal as recorded. The clip is In-App footage recorded with AZ Screen Recorder on my Smartphone (mp4).
Any ideas how to solve it?

Create fluid gif in a continuous cycle without visual coup when starts anew
I can do a video loop, but I can not do it with a smooth continuous cycle. I would like my gif when it starts, that annoying shutter not see when starts again at zero. It 'can get a gif continuous fluid cycle (with no shot of restart) with after effects cc 2015.3?

How to use an animated gif in a background of a project

I've imported an animated gif into a composition as a background for an animated particle and I would like it to run until the end of the song that runs along.
I can't seem to figure out how to duplicate it or looping it until the end.

File project can't open in new Mac OS Sierra
I have issued since I used update Mac Sierra some my old file AE CS 6 can't open old file CS 6, I think Adobe need to update patch for file in Adobe after effect CC 2015, or someone can give me tips or solution for opening file AE CS6 in Adobe AF CC 2015 run Sierra macos?

Turn Off Scroll Wheel Zooming
I need to turn off the scroll wheel zooming in After Effects. If I am looking at a Comp window and I scroll with my mouse, the view zooms in or out. I don't want to do this, especially because I have a Magic Mouse and any stray movement suddenly zooms my window. It's a realy problem. Can I turn this "feature" off?
