I have a problem with Adobe After Effects (code : 5027 :: 12). This error came out of nowhere while I was creating a visual for my internship. I read every forum and I saw many solutions, but no one helped, so that's why I am opening a new discussion. This is the problem:

I've done a few restarts and followed the instructions in this post:Re: After Effects has stopped working - crash after start , but the problem persists. Every time I try to launch AE I get an error message and the program closes.
Here's some of my computer info. Is it too old? A previous version of AE was able to run on my computer.
I'm looking additional suggestions.

seit längerer Zeit habe ich Probleme mit After Effects. Anfangs konnte ich noch zum Beispiel Partikelanimationen oder Keying verwenden.
Sobald 3D Animationen angelegt wurden stürzte das Programm jedoch sofort ab.
Inzwischen ist kein Arbeiten mit After Effects mehr möglich, bei jeder Anwendung von Filtern etc. stürzt das Programm ab oder das Vorschaubild wird weiß. Ich habe After Effects bereits Neuinstalliert und Treiber aktualisiert.
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass openGL in den Einstellungen nicht als aktiv angezeigt wird bzw. der Haken gar nicht vorhanden ist. Woran kann das liegen? Die Grafikkarte sollte openGL unterstützen.
Ich hoffe Ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen, hier mein System:
Windows 10
AMD Phentom II X2 511, 3400MHz, 2 Kerne
16 GB Ram
AMD Radeon R7 370 Series mit 4096mb

So when I initially set up after effects there was this message: "Ray-tracin on the GPU requires and approved NVIDIA graphics card and CUDA 5.0 or later. For now ray-tracing will use the CPU." Not thinking, I went to the site to download the NIVIDA card driver, installed it, only to recall that I am currently running the AMD FirePro D700... After realizing the mistake, I removed the NVIDA card driver... and figured my Mac would just default back to the CPU processing. Now when I go in to use the 3D Ray-Trace mode, I get this error message : "After Effects error: Ray-traced 3D: Out of mapped memory for ray tracer. Your project may exceed GPU limits. Try closing other applications. Try updating the CUDA driver. ( 5070 :: 2)"- Where initially it would let me use the CPU to render and look at 3d objects, it currently does not.
I have tried re-installing my whole creative cloud suite so it would default back to normal but am still getting errors. How do I solve this issue?

I want to animate a globe, but the shadow that CC Sphere adds is really heavy, I actually wanted no shadow at all. I wanted to make the map more 3D to that transitions and pans across it were smoother and easier to handle. Any suggestions?

I have dozens of layers with tons of keyframes and clips that start and stop. I have noticed in one section of my animation that it would look better if I slowed it down (added time) between a series of keyframes. Back in the day in flash you could stick your playhead in that exact spot and just add blank keyframes where everything to the right of the head would be pushed to the right. Is there any way to do that in after effects? The problem I have found with dragging and selecting the dozens of keframes and dragging them right is that the comps get completely messed up, dragging some leaving others. What I really want to do is basically stretch in the middle of a the timeline across all layers. Please tell me this is possible, haven't been able to find a way anywhere.
Adobe cloud updated automatically yesterday. After effects was working great until after the update of Adobe Cloud yesterday. Now After Effects freezes stops responding after opening an existing project. No other error message.
I have cleared the cache, turned off file syncing, uninstalled and reinstalled after effects, change the memory required, stood on one foot and rubbed my head, all to no avail.
I am running windows 10, I7-6700 with 16 g of Ram, AMD R9 380 Video Card

I have a 1920X1080 comp and i want 8 solids evenly on the 1920 side. so that means each solid has to be 1080 by 240. I there a way to automate this like you can in Illustrator? Right now i have to duplicate and move each solid?

I'm pretty new to Adobe After Effects CC 2015. I have a video thats around 1 minute, everything works as it should when i preview it. But when i render it out, with right settings, The sound won't render out.
So basically i can hear all the sounds when i preview it, but when i render it out i can't here any sound at all. I have tried having the sound on Auto, and On. But nothing works.
And yes, some of the mp4 files i use for audio aswell, but the mp3 audio file won't play either. Would love some help! I had this problem for some days now!
I took the CS6 master collection off of my computer once I started subscribing to CC for photographers. I recently added Premiere and After Effects from my CS6 back onto my computer and, while Premiere loaded without a problem, After Effects won't load. I get the message "You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this version of OS X." (I have OS X El Capitan). I'm not sure what that means? What version do I need?

I've been doing some After Effects projects for hobby size projects.
Now Im able to help someone with a movie title for the "big screen" (2K, cinema) and have following problem.
I have a 2k composition in AFX, with 32 bit depth, will export as OpenEXR file sequence.
The movie title is just 7 letters that should be "kerning" (don't know if it's the correct term)
I have the logo as eps file, have every letter as precomp, and move each letter (except the middle one) with position keyframes at start and end of a 15 second composition. It is black letters on white background.
When I preview it, it already looks kind of strange and not smooth (motion blur enabled, but animation very slow so no effect anyway) but apparently (Im not at the cinema myself, but get the information from there) it looks even worse on the big screen. "Kind of pixely and stuttery".
Sooo, I searched for the problem. The only thing I found was a "1 px a frame" issue with rolling titles. Having even pixels every frame.
Now... When I use an expression to move the graphic a full even pixel per frame, the whole animation has a specific speed.
What do I do when it should be animated way slower? It will always have uneven pixels then (0,4 e.g.)?
Is there any other way to solve a problem like this? I understand "full contrast titles" (full black on full white) always makes problems but still.
On top of everything I put a fast blur of 0,2 which didnt help.
Any help appreciated!
I have a massive problem in After Effects. Occasionally, when I back out of a pre-comp into my main comp, nothing is visible in the Composition screen. Just a grey background (matches the one of the After Effects UI and my composition background is black). It cannot Preview, or render a single frame. All of my layers are turned on. When I go back into the pre-comp, the screen is also grey. The only solution that I have found is to completely shut down, and re-open after effects, which takes time that I'd rather save. Opening a different project and then coming back does not work. I need to solve this problem ASAP, it is extremely annoying and very frequent.
Any solution for that?
I just bought the subscription for After Effects. I have downloaded the software in CC.

I'm running after effects CC on a Macbook Pro, with 16 GB of Ram and 70 GB of free space running OS Maverick.
After I've had the program open for about 10-30 minutes I get a dialogue that says:
"Unable to allocate 0.000 MB of memory, Either decrease the memory requirements for rendering of this frame, or install more RAM...."
I didn't have this problem with CS6... The Dialogue basically cripples the program, as hitting OK simply brings up another identical message and makes it impossible to fix or change anything. I have to force quit... There tends to be a grace period of 10 minutes or which I can work in before it starts happening again.
Is this a bug, is there a trick in the setting to stop this error message? The program seems to perform just fine untill this warning box pops up.

Last version of AE 13.8.1.38 crashes when I switch to the 3D layer, I have a GeForce GTX660.
it occurs with all kind of layer, consistently, even when starting a new project with just a basic shape.
What I tried so far:
Any idea what other things I can do to fix?

Been struggling for a while to get this sorted. Had the laptop custom build in the UK. It's a beast, really great laptop and apart from the screen tearing and render lag issues until now, it's been great.
Both the latest versions of AF 2014 and 2015 didn't like the GTX card at all. I got serious screen tearing and sync issues, even after updating nVidia and Cuda drivers.
I ended up forcing afterfx.exe to use the Intel HD integrated graphics and it seem to have sorted most of my render issues. No more screen tearing, no more sync issues.
Kinda bumbed that the GTX and AF don't want to play together. Anyone else have similar issues with nVidia cards?
