Error de CC:After Effects - dynamiclinkmanager.exe

Buenas, después de haber leído bastante por internet y foros y ninguna me ha servido he decidido abrir el hilo (ya he leído posts como este: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/startup-screen-hangs-premiere-after.html ). He iniciado la versión de prueba de After Effects y me ha salido este error. Decidme, por favor, toda la información que tengo que aportar para que me podáis ayudar porque yo soy muy iniciado en esto. Os avanzo que yo ya tenía el CS6 y nunca me ha salido este error. He instalado y desinstado varias veces y por diferentes fuentes, esta captura no sé si es de la última versión pero ninguna me ha funcionado. Muchas gracias y os leo.

Microsoft Surface Book Pro and After Effects stylus bug

I've had this bug for the better part of a year and I'm totally up to date on all my drivers. I'm using a Surface Book Pro with Performance Base. Basically, After Effects registers my first tap with the stylus and ignores everything after that until I move the touchpad.

I've had this issue with every version of After Effects I've installed going back to 2014. I've cleared my preferences, installed the Wintab drivers, and installed the Surface Book Platform drivers. Anyone else had this issue? Anyone else fixed it?

Animation - Changing the shape

Hello,

 

I'm trying to reproduce the same effect used in a video but I tried several tutorials and until now I wasn't able to find the correct way to do it. Could some one please suggest mea tutorial where I could learn how to do it?

The effect that I want to reproduce starts at 0:25 and it is the red effect. What I want to do is this change in the shape along the time.

Team Project - special needs

Hey together!

 

I will start with my question directly: We like to share comps with the whole team, which could be previewed and imported directly in the current AE-project. As a kind of comp-library with a preview function. We hoped the new feature "Team-Projects" for AE will help out, but its not possible to import or preview comps from the cloud to a project, which is not in the cloud. We tried other possibilities, like the media browser or the cloud libraries, but nothing worked for us. Now the question: Is there any tool/addon out there which have these functions?

After Effect's crashing on launch.

Hi ! Hello !

 

 

I'm having an issue with AE, after the splash screen on start, the app crashes even before I can open any project.

  • I have all my drivers updated
  • If I delete the After Effects folder's content on Roaming. It works but just for one time. So it's annoying to lose all my preferences every time I need to work.
  • Maybe it's due to a plugin because the errors has occurred when I installed a bunch of them, but when I remove it with ZXPInstaller, nothing happens

Can't fetch cmaps (83::2) > Unknown BIB Error...CT, 0 (83::3) After Effects Dead.

First it gave me an error before this that simply said, "Can't fetch cmaps (83::2)"

 

Then this:

And it wont start at all. uninstalling, reinstalling. nada. I was wondering if maybe it was related to the windows 10 creator update, but then After Effects WORKED after the update and then before this error. And now it doesn't. Boo.

 

Seriously, my machine is my bread and butter I need it to work. HELP!!

 

Ok what info do you need... You know my computer has been running After Effects just fine before this so computer specs not needed (unless you want them). Maybe the nature of the project? Just like any project. Designs, vector files, raster files, fonts, specific font installs, animation, effects, blah blah. VFX.

 

OH one thing that was really strange that happened, I was trying to open up a PSD with a font I'd installed from the internet (Playfair Display in fact) and it wouldn't open. I recreated the file and tried to use the font and it would give me an error. Then I noticed that font wasn't the only font to give me an error, but it wasn't ALL the fonts. It was a random assortment of fonts that gave an error. THEN I restarted my machine, and it opened and worked just fine as if nothing was wrong. WTF is going on here folks?

 

As a precaution I'm rolling back the WIN 10 creators update to see if it helps. Will let you know.

Create new 3D layer to match existing camera

Hey guys! This might be a bit of a silly question, but is there a way to automatically match a new 3D layer's position to your existing camera? I have kinetic typograpy comps all the time that involve a camera moving around from word to word. All of these word layers have to be 3D layers of course in order to be affected by the camera when it moves past them. However, every time I create a new text layer and then make it 3D, that layer pops way back to an origin point (at least that's what I assume is the reason it moves so far away), and then I have to go and drag that text layer all the way back into frame in order to show on camera in the camera's current position.

 

My question basically is over whether there's a way to automatically take a new 3D layer and match position with the current active camera? It's not a huge deal, but it is an inconvenience, and I would love to know if there is some easy fix for it that I just don't know about.

Motion Graphics Templates and no font selection

Why in the world would Adobe not allow a font change in Adobe Premiere when using a Motion graphics Template? Even some of the samples provided include font selection, size and alignment features.

 

When will you update this Adobe?

Rendering/Exporting with Dynamically Linked Compositions- a LOT of them

Hello, I have a project in Premiere pro with 150ish linked compositions.. I know. I am curious if there are any suggestions aside from "render and replace" I can use to speed up the rendering process, because as of now, I am sitting at a 45 hour render time.

 

 

 

I am running the newest version of Premiere pro cc on windows 7. (excluding today's update)
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790k CPU @ 4.00GHz

Ram: 16gb

64 bit op system

graphics card: a p.o.s raedon R7 200 series with a 2016 driver

using mercury software

Also using ridiculously high Bitrate

 

Please let me know of any additional information I could provide that might helpinfo.png

e1: Time drastically improved following one of the information heavier shots, although I'm still at 27 hours remaining, which tends to idle instead of decreaseclosingin.png

 

e2: Blue screen of death at 20 hours in, rinsing and repeating

 

 

 

 

I've spent an absurd amount of time and energy working to make this.. needless to say, this project means a lot to me. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions!

After effects - Change timeline to seconds

Hi,

 

Im just starting into After effects, while trying a few tutorials i have noticed my timeline goes 00001,00002,00003 etc, whereas the tutorials i am following timelines go 1s,2s,3s etc. How do i change mine. I know its probably a simple process but iv tried everything.

 

I have attached 2 pics to show what i mean incase I'm not clear.

Translating keyframes from a null to the parented object?

I have a camera parented to a animated null, and I'd like to be able to get rid of the null and have the movement translated into position and rotation keyframes on the actual camera. Is this possible?  The reason I want to do this is I'm having trouble getting the camera animation to export to C4D when it's parented to a null, but seems to work well when the keyframes are on the camera.  Thank you for your help!

Need help, on a project and where to start- Includes lighting and effects

Hello Adobe Community,

          Recently I have been wanting to create an HD intro/animation for myself and some friends. I want to take a logo, so you can barely see and outline of it as if the lights were of and I want it to spark a few times with different colored sparks, then to light up dramatically and fill the screen with light. I want it to almost look read and 3D and I am not looking for a flat look to it. I am very new to After Effects and don't know where to start. Some useful tips and advice would be helpful and any clarification you need I will gladly reply too. Hopefully some of you guys can help me tackle this!

Hi:

 

I just got an error that displays and doesn't want to go away even after I click the only OK button in the dialog box.

 

The error as cryptic as this is, is:

 

"After Effects error : unbalanced unlock. ( 7 :: 40 )

 

Does anybody know how to get rid of this and why did it show up in the first place?

 

Using Mac OSX El Capitan with the latest AECC2015 update (13.6.1.6)

Analyzing in Background Forever...

I've got about 22 x 4k R3D files that add up to about 14 minutes of footage. I have sent them over to AE in order to use warp stabilize vfx. Footage is a hand writing on glass and sometimes the glass is slightly bumped. I placed a + on the top right corner of the glass, hoping this would help the process.
I have been waiting for hours and I am still getting "Analyzing in Background (Step 1 of 2)". Is there any sort of progress bar? Is there any indication of when this will be finished? Is it still working?

Red Frames

After updating to the latest version and restarting my computer I am getting red frames all over my composition. I tried a render and the red frames showed up there too. Reloading footage hasn't helped. I've never even heard of this problem until today, and it looks like it used to be an issue in Premier, not After Effects.

 

I'm on Windows 10 and have never had an issue like this before the update today.

Hi everyone,

 

I recently bought an iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inch, Late 2015) which includes an AMD Radeon R9 M380 8GB.
But, when I open the After Effects CC2015, it shows:

And more! The preview is veeery slow. When I import the AE project to Premiere Pro, the video is obviously super fast.

What should I do? Should I buy a NVIDIA video card?

Recurring issue exporting composition as text template

After Effects will not even give me the option to export that, whether I try under the compositions tab or the files tab. I am making new text layers in an old after effects file from Version 11.0.4 (Windows 64) that converts to the file supported by the version of After Effects that I am using (After Effects CC 2017.0 Release Version 14.0.1.5). I am able to make new text layers in After Effects and animate them along with the original elements of the file I'm using but when I attempt to convert it to a text template to be able to edited in Premiere, it does not give me the option. I have tried several different options to try and find a way to be able to export as a text template but I am unable to in this file. When I created a new file in After Effects just to see if I could get it to work, it had no issue exporting the text template. Is it because of the old file type? Will I have to recreate this composition from scratch in the new version of After Effects?

 

Apologies if I worded things incorrectly or didn't provide enough info! I'm a newbie when it comes to After Effects and I'm just trying to get the text file template to work.

Animating bars & numbers?

Hi there,

 

I've had a quick search around the forum, but as this isn't really about one specific area of using AE I figured I'd seek advice by covering everything I want to do in a separate post. What I'm trying to make is a leveling chart that is data driven. This is best described by a mock-up image of what I'm planning:

I want to track how much work I'm doing on different things both in hours, but also associate that with what is almost a game-like leveling system. So essentially I'll define how much XP an hour of work is (thinking around 500 for now as an example), then make a big list from level 1-100 that has total XP values. On the image above the anchor point is on the far left of the green bars, so my plan was to scale them depending on how close they are in % to the next level (where of course the difference gets bigger between each level so the animation would have to be done through a mathematical expression). The animation is at 30fps and I was hoping I could get from stationary->accelerated bar movement->decelerating bar movement->stationary at new numbers with a fixed time of 6 seconds. The bar would have to reset when it hits 100% and increase the level number and having fluid increase in hours as the bar moves (and even maybe XP below that) is something I'd really like to do.

 

This sort of animation will of course have to be data driven and I was curious both how to do that as well as how people would recommend doing that. I've dabbed in bits of C++ (enough to be able to certainly understand how this would work logically) so using JS for AE should be easy enough to learn. Can I write this in anything? Does AE have a built in tool for it? Also, as this is something I will keep coming back to, I guess it has to be more than just an expression and data set. I assume I'd need to have tabs on starting and finishing values and make sure that at the end of each animation the end data got saved to the starting values.

 

There's quite a lot going on in this so I'm getting slightly bogged down in how to make it. Any suggestions would be appreciated,
