I'm creating a parallax effect video of animated PNG files.
I previously constructed the parallax by moving the position of files for different distances manually.
However, the video will be long and loopable. So I hoped to find easier way instead of doing individual calculations.
I saw from AE videos that setting up Camera node works to achieve similar effect.
I already started parallax in Premiere. Is there a way to use Camera tool in Premiere?

Am planning on doing Ariel shot of him but also some low angle shots of water flowing at camera.

This happens to me quite frequently on both of my PCs where if I have Adobe AE (15.3) or Pr (17) open and then walk away for 5-10 minutes, I'll come back and the program is "Not Responding", forcing me to then open up Task Manager and force quit. Note that basically if I do not touch the program for about 5-10 minutes this will always happen, however if I work for hours non stop, it works flawlessly.
My setup:
Alienware 15 R3
Windows 10 Build 15063.540
Intel i7 7700HQ
GTX 1070
16GB RAM
My other setup is a custom PC running same OS build.
Hi, guys. There is something wrong with my computer. I am wondering why the template twinkled after I activated “Adobe After Effects”. My configuration is as follows:
I couldn't open my AE as soon as I click on the icon of AE on my application it just pops for a fraction of seconds and disappears.

Before purchasing, I wanted to do some of the free trials that are offered. I opened the installer, signed into my account, and began installing but it has been at 0% for over 30 minutes and still says "calculating time remaining". I am not sure what the issue could be...can someone help me?

My after effects is not importing .png files , what is the problem ?
AE is importing .png files but is shows as a blank file , however it does read the .jpeg files what is the problem ?
I bought Mettle company`s sky box, but it doesn't work on other computers. I want to know how to run on another computer.
And I'd like to know how to apply the skybox to after effects.
I am trying to do a simple thing and that is import an AI file that contains layers. When I import into After Effects I get the new Comp and I see just one AI file icon. I can't figure out why my layers are not coming in.
Anyone got some ideas?
I am making an Essential Graphics template in AE. Because scale is not a function that EG supports, I created a slider for the scale values that I wanted, and added that to my EG window. All of that works well, but I want to be able to adjust keyframe spacing in Premiere when I export this in. The best that I can figure is that the keyframes that I set up on my slider don't transfer over into Pr. What's the best way to make the slider keyframes that I made in AE show up in Pr?

I can't export my composition, it stops at some point.
I have tried with different output settings, with AME and regular Render AE queue, changing General preferences, double checking the export area, checking the point at which it stops if something is wrong but it's not, etc etc
Also, new project importing the AE project there.
I am for two days trying to export but nothing happens. Please could anybody help me? I have updated to CC 2017 and am not happy with it.

I can not open the AE,and it has stopped working on welcome page every time.
just wanted to share a funny little bug. the shape layer has no audio effect applied, and still it has an audio parameter. it doesn't bother me much, although the last thing I need when I am manipulating shape layers is another toggle to look at in the timeline
these are the steps to recreate the problem in my current workstation:
1. import an audio to your composition - in my example it was WAV format. but you can just add a solid layer with the tone audio effect.
2.put it inside a composition
3. pre-comp the master comp (doesn't matter if it's leave attributes or move attributes) and get inside the pre-comp
4. add a shape layer

Searching everywhere and can't find if it's possible to link a paint brush path to another object's motion parameters. I'm drawing with the brush tool to create a reveal effect, and would like to use the brush path to drive an animated pen.

I am working on an Element 3D project where I want to be able to change the floor texture of my scene by turning on and off different checkbox controllers on an adjustment layer(when a specific controller is checked a specific texture is loaded). I have a solid layer named Element3D with Element effect applied to it. The exact thing I want is to change the value of property "Sampling Layer 8"(this is for the diffuse channel of my Plane object inside Element) from one layer index to another(my textures of different jpg images).
There is an expression for the Sampling Layer because I've seen this work in a preview video of a template. I tried some if else statements but all I got is errors.
What is the code like?

When I go to my Element effect -> Render Settings -> Shadows tick enable and put the Shadow Mode to Ray-Traced the program immediately crashes. It says "After Effects has stopped working" and closes.
I am with 24 gb ram, gpu gtx 950(4gb), cpu core i7 quad.
