Tengo el AE CC y quiero hacer un logo 3D con el plugin de Element 3D copilot, hago todo el proceso pero cuando llego a la Scene Set Up no me muestra nada, tengo 12 de Ram en un Core i5 con tarjeta de video AMD Radeon HD 7570M/ 7670M Graphics de 1GB y no me la deja usar, que puedo hacer? I'm currently running on a standard iMac and am switching to a higher spec PC along with a GPU to gain faster render times when working in Cinema 4d.
I will still be using 3 or 4 CC apps including After Effects CC and wondered if there would potentially be any problems using this with the GPU.
The GPU model is GEFORCE GTX 1080 Ti
Also would Video Copilot 'Optical Flares' plugin be compatible?
Any info would be much appreciated.

PS I Media Encoder works just fine and any adjustments in AE or even scrolling through time line works but as soon as i hit play it crash
Why in the world would Adobe not allow a font change in Adobe Premiere when using a Motion graphics Template? Even some of the samples provided include font selection, size and alignment features.
When will you update this Adobe?

Hi, I'm wondering if it is possible somehow to have the nulls created from the new 'points follow nulls' expression appear right above the selected layer? For instance, if I want to create nulls for the points on a layer that is maybe 50 or 60 layers down, then the nulls show up at the very top of the comp. I'd like to have them right above the layer that they are controlling. Anyone know if this is possible via preferences or something?

After upgrading from 2015.3 to 2017 I noticed a consistent and annoying behavior. When adjusting values for different effects, there is a noticeable "lag" from .5 sec to as long as 10 seconds at times where the mouse freezes, the processor spikes (not maxes but something is happening) and then it reverts to normal. Previews all run fairly fluid and it only seems to be a problem when adjusting effects values. This happens on third party or included plugins (levels) for example.
I noticed the worst scenario was when I had VMWare 12.5.1 installed on the system, it would cause a solid 10 sec gap between adjustments, reverting back to a time when it wasn't installed, I still get the lag, but it's more tolerable at less than a second. It's enough to interrupt my workflow though. Also, when I open a project and make the first adjustment, the lag is almost imperceptible, but all adjustments afterwards the lag is present. Strange.
Also, when closing AE, I notice the mouse is very laggy when moving around the screen as if something is really bogging it down in the background, then once AE completely exists, everything is fine. This is the only software that causes this issue and 2015.3 doesn't have it either.

We recently switched our employe to a windows 10 PC (from an iMac Late 2013) and he's having really slow saving times from a project he started from is iMac.
We tried a copy of the project on the iMac and it saves really fast (around 1 sec) but it takes about 1 min from is PC.
When monitoring the ressources of the PC during the save, all CPU cores are working ±90.
Here are the PC specs :
Core i7 8700k (not OC)
32 GB DDR4 @ 2400 MHz
Boot Drive : 512GB Samsung 860 Pro SSD
Project Drive : 512GB Samsung 960 Pro NVME

I used the clone stamp to remove a window that was adjacent to the window on the left part of this image. The final image looks like this:
When I duplicate the layer, the duplicated layer looks like this:
Any idea what's going on here? Here's a screenshot of my clone stamp settings below. From what I've read, these seem to be the correct settings for what I'd like to do. Ultimately, the window moves to the right part of the screen. I'd like to remove the window that's adjacent to this window so it is just blue on the right side using a combination of the clone stamp and motion tracking. The background changes color to a lighter shade of blue, which is why I'd like to use the clone stamp so the color of the blue will change throughout the sequence.
Any help is appreciated!

I am a mountain hiker and I use Pr and Ae to create videos of my hikes to post on my hiking blog.
i am currently using Trim Paths to animate my GPS track that sits on top of a static topographical map. I will also be animating the elevation profile that goes along with that track.
I have also imported my GPS track into Google Earth Pro (GEP) and will create a "tour" using satellite imagery, which I will then turn into a movie, also using GEP, and then convert the M4V video file into a format that Media Encoder can digest.
Unfortunately, the GEP tour displays the entire track all at once and I can find no way to attach a direction arrow that moves along the track to show where I am as the tour unfolds. So I simply have a fly-over that follows the track line while the map moves around showing the satellite landscape imagery along the way in 3D.
If any of you are watching the Tour de France, what I'm trying to achieve is very similar to what NBC is doing on the pre-race show when they explain what the riders are faced with for that day's segment of the race.
So my question: Is it possible to do something like I'm doing with Trim Paths on the static map, but also do it for the track on my GEP satellite tour, and somehow have the track remain attached to the right place on the GEP satellite map as the map moves around and changes orientation and camera angle? I really need the track line to draw itself out as the tour unfolds, rather than have the entire track displayed all at once. I can use the track on the GEP tour as a guide, like I'm doing with Trim Paths, then recreate the GEP tour with the original track line turned off.
If I'm not explaining my use of Trim Paths clearly, this link to one of my hiking videos shows my use of Trim Paths, which starts at the 00:01:40 mark and lasts about 30 seconds.

I just got an error that displays and doesn't want to go away even after I click the only OK button in the dialog box.
The error as cryptic as this is, is:
"After Effects error : unbalanced unlock. ( 7 :: 40 )
Does anybody know how to get rid of this and why did it show up in the first place?

I enjoy using After Effects and all, the new features are great but the Ui is painfully slow same thing with Photoshop CC as well it's slowing down my workflow.
Is there anything that can be down to make things in the Ui move a little smoother?

I keep on having issues with After Effects CC 2018 hanging on me. In the task manager it tells me that the status of the program is "Suspended". I'm working with a multi-layer EXR file from V-Ray, and its happening quite a lot... Fix needed asap. After a few minutes of being suspended, the file shows the save dialog then immediately disappears.

I'm currently working on a YouTube channel template for my beats where there's a waveform spectrum
is reacting to music, thing is, after the render is done, at the final .mov file there are here and there
some frames where the spectrum is disappearing or jumps for just a half second or so and
basically reacting wrong to the music like if the music is quiet and there's a second where the spectrum
jumps like there was a big hit in the music or things like that and it happens like 4-5 times in almost
every beat I render..What can cause the problem?

I have a project in 3D space. Everything comes out OK after rendering, except for two overlapping photos. The one on top flashes black twice in rapid succesion at one point.
The two photos are seperated a little bit in height and the one on top is on top both on the artboard and in the timeline hierarchy, so that can´t be the problem.
SCREEN SHOT 1: The ID photo in the middle bottom looks as it should.
SCREEN SHOT 2: The ID photo turns black for 1-2 frames
Is there anything else I can do to get rid of this irritating problem once and for all?

I've been using AE CC18 without any issues on my MacBook Pro. I recently switched to a PC, and currently using Windows 10. When I try to import any PNG files, the option is not listed by default. I change the file type to "All File Types" and I get the error "After Effects error: Failed to connect to Adobe Dynamic Link project. (86::1)". Is this a known issue with Windows machines and AE CC18?
When I originally opened C4D Lite I skipped over the registration, and now I'm wanting to use the MoGraph menu. C4D tells me to register the product so I can access the MoGraph features, I've looked in the menus and cannot seem to locate the "register" section.
Anyone know where I might find this?

One of my friends made this on After Effects and I am trying to learn how he did it. How did he add the particles moving up and how is the character breathing and have the effects moving around him. I want to be able to do stuff similar to this, thats why I am asking.
