CC 2015 ram preview

Please someone help or empathise! What the — is going on with CC 2015 ram preview. is it just me that cant get it real time!? help!

 

This is impossible. i hava a tight deadline. and cant even get after effects to playback properly.

is it el capitan or after effects cc 2015?

is there a fix?

its ridiculous!!!!

im on a macbook pro late 2013

2.6ghz intel i7

with 16GB of ram.

 

should i be struggling?

 

please someon enlighten me.

NEW iOS Update eliminates access to Adobe After Effects

Hello Folks,

 

I bought a license about a year ago to the Adobe Creative Master Suite CS6 and ever since I updated my iOS (Macbook Pro) recently, I have not been able to use my Adobe After Effects software. Can anyone shed light on how I can troubleshoot this issue as I use this software for work?

what am i doing wrong here? mocha mask tracking

so im trying to track masks with mocha but its not working

heres a 1 minute video showing exactly what i did: Twitch

heres the tutorials that i tried to copy exactly: Rotoscoping Mocha After Effects Tutorial - YouTube  at 2:56 time

and Tracking Masks: comparing Adobe's Mask Tracker and mocha AE CC - YouTube  at 2:43 time

 

i tried copying the tutorials exactly....create the mask with xspline, export shape data, copy to clipboard, go to aae and then edit > paste mocha mask...as u can see in my video, the mask that i created is still, and does not follow hillary the way it was tracked in mocha

 

help would be great, thanks

Exporting AE project as Premiere project- why are my clips not the same color as edited?

Okay, so here is my workflow so far.

 

I shot with a Canon Mark iii using magic lantern. I have converted all files to DNG, and finished color correcting in after effects. I don't want to have to export each individual file and then import into premiere as that will take too long and i do not want to lose quality. Nor do i know what export setting i would even use in that case.

 

When i export the AE project as a "premiere pro" project and open it up in premier pro, all the color changes i made to the original clips are completely changed. This is very frustrating for me as i have about 130GB's of footage ready to go. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

How to export shapes from After Effects to Premier Pro

Recently I have made a text message sequence in after affects that I was intending on then exporting in to my Premier Pro. This nearly worked although the shape of the bubble doesn't go through it only shows the texts. Do i have to make the shape in to a solid if so how?

What is the resize comp window for?

A few times I have by accident when resizing a image in the comp-window resized the comp- window.
Well not the window itself but I have dragged the corners and resized the view of the project/comp.
Its like a mask and outside the mask its black and inside you see the comp.
Dont know what to call this so I havent found anything on the net.

 

Just want to know what it is and what to use if for.

Bones problem with extension DUIK and After Effects, help?

Hi, I am currently trying to animate shapes in After Effects. I want these shapes to have a natural "flowing" effect. I downloaded DUIK and it appears to be giving me the results I wanted. However, I can only animate one object/ shape. When I go to make the "bones" of another shape the shape completely jumps and warps across the page. Have tried isolating these shapes on diff layers, making shape layers and this problem still happens.

If anyone has any advice to help this or why this is happening would be great help. Alternatively if anyone has any suggestions to and alternate way I could animate would be great help!

rename layer Duik bug with OSsierra

Hey, i have a lot of trouble renaming layers to use duik since i update to sierra os, i can't use enter anymore to rename layer i have to right click and click rename or it doesn't work anymore with duik expressions. It's really anoying since you have to rename a lot when rigging with duik. Does anyone experience the same trouble as me ? and may have a solution ?

How can I make a countdown timer using After Effects

I'd like to make a video that has a timer that counts down one second at a time. I need one starting at 5:00 (five minutes). Is there a way to easily do this in After Effects without having to manually change the text every second?

Imported Premiere sequence drastically shifting color after save and reopen.

So no matter what i do nothing seems to solve this for me.

 

Im importing a Premiere sequence into after effects, .R3d and .Mov media.

 

Im exporting from there to a .PNG Image Sequence.

 

Everything works fine as long as i complete the project without having to save and reopen the file.

 

As soon as i reopen the project the colors are all over the place, its sporadic also, each clip is affected differently.

 

* I have tried multiple workspaces or lack there of.

 

 

All help is appreciated!..... please!!

Audio Scrubbing in CC 2015?

I work with a band and we do a lot of promotional pieces/graphics in AE. In CC 2014 I was able to drag with my mouse and hold COMMAND to scrub audio at any pace I wanted to find specific drum hits and note cues for edits/markers. In CC 2015 the playback skips and tries to render previous frames behind the playhead if I scrub at any speed slower than real time. 

SPECS: AE CC 2015 - Late 2013 Mac Pro - 3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5 - 32 GB Memory - 1TB Storage.

C4D lite won't open on Mac OS Sierra

Hello,

I'm having problems with C4D lite. It just does not load, I have the color wheel and nothing hapens, and AE is down. I'm on a iMac with Mac os Sierra, After Effects 13.8.1.38. I saw something similar on an older version, the solution was to open AE as an administrator, but in my case, I'm on an administrator session. I don't know if it comes from my recent update to Sierra, but before (months ago) it worked perfectly.

Anyone else have noticed that problem ?

After Effects CC 2015 won't preview in real time OS Sierra

Hello,

I'm using OS Sierra 10.12 the After Effects 2015 is not ram previewing in real time.

The sound plays really slow, the image jumps a bit.... it's imposible to get a real time preview.

I've tried a bunch of things now, but nothing is working.

I'm not sure if it's an After bug (I read a lot about this kind of issues with El Capitan).

Can somebody help?

i have a problem with after effects (7.0). When i start rendering i crshes after 1-5 seconds. I have teste with / without opengl and alll video / audio formats.

After Effects Taking too much time and big file size in rendering with Quicktime

Hi All,

 

I am using After Effects CC 2015.3 release and my laptop configuration is i5 5th generation, 8 GB Ram. I have Quicktime Player, version of 7.7.6!! I have no GPU configuration. I am trying to render 9 seconds video in Quicktime(.mov). It's taking too long and around size of 1.7 GB. Till yesterday it was working really well, but don't know what happened.

 

Here are the screenshots of my composition settings:

I have tried almost everything. I have also updated Quicktime Player as well. There is no issue with Quicktime Player. I think the issue is with frames. Because it's rendering each frame. Here is the screenshot of my Preferences Panel.

Hiding vs Shying Layers

I was trying to understand the difference between Hiding layers and Shying them. Would it be correct to say that Shying them is a method of "group hiding" or - said differently: hiding / showing chosen layers as a group? Thanks!

After Effects stutters for several minutes simply after switching to it from Premiere

I am running AE 2015.3 and PR 2015.4 on OS X 10.10.5. My system has 64gb RAM. My media lives on 7200RPM drives and the OS + apps live on a PCIe SSD. Hopefully these specs are not at fault here.

 

I cannot tell if it is a problem with Premiere or AE, but every single time I switch from Premiere to AE, AE grinds to a halt and gives me the pinwheel for several minutes. Drives me off the wall because this problem did not exist with AE 2015.2. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

After effects error, please tell me how to fix

Whenever I open after effects it says "After effects error: Warning: Frame Size Input Error, Layer base size must be the same, time for some precomp maybe? (512)      ( 25 :: 241 )"

And when I try to ram preview, it says "After effects error: RAM Preview needs 2 or more frames to playback"

Any help? Thanks!
