Adobe After Effect cc2014 Transitions vs Premiere Pro cc2014 (Help needed)

Adobe After Effect cc 2014 and premiere Pro cc 2014

Project 1080p

Can someone help me please !

I've created a project using Premiere Pro cc 2014, its about 5 minutes long, I have couple nice plug-ins such as New Blue and etc

The New blue has couple nice transition that i really like a lot and I wanna keep them in my project but unfortunately when I export my Premiere Pro project to After Effect cc2014, I lose my New Blue transitions, although i can see them in my sequence or project but when I render and see the final video, I dont see my New Blue transitions .

Any help will be appreciated !

Render Queue Render Times all reset to zero.

I am seeing an issue that is quite puzzling. Was wondering if anyone else is seeing this or might have advice about it.

 

In looking over the Render Queue window, I notice that all old renders in the list are showing an incorrect render time (Zero). It also changes the start time and date  of every old render entry to the current time!  This appears to be true for me even opening old AE files.

 

I look at old render times to gain information about current renders and would like to get this information back.

 

I am new to Windows and would appreciate any advice on this issue.

 

Opening those same files on a Mac (using AE 14.1.0.5)  shows normal render times as expected.

after effects titles in premier pro

I've created a title in after effects and I want to overlay it over vision in premier pro. When I put the title over the vision I can't see the title. I've played with the 'blend' mode in opacity but it dulls the colour of the title. Any suggestions?

Output process when there's only a small change here and there

Hello there,

 

I'm in the process of outputting an AE project that takes about 7 hours to render out, but there's a good chance that the client will make a couple of tweaks here and there after the render has been done. Can someone tell me the best way to output the project once and then just make the little changes without having to output the full project again (I just don't have the time if I'm to meet the deadline)? Someone mentioned doing a targa sequence, but I didn't know if this was the best route to go down?

Slow when to many script

Hi all !

 

I can put a lot of graphics, animation, and all things works fine. But when i put some expressions, it makes the preview and renderer slower. And if I rig a character, this is just very slooooooooow (but very very).

 

Some people say this is the AE scripting engine is very old and never refresh, with an old way to treat javascript request.

 

Do you know if it's true ? Can you refresh the scripting engine for the next update or CC 2018 ??

Strange Audio Playback, mono out of sync left and right

I'm having a very strange and frustrating time with AE 2017.1 (14.1.0.57) at the moment. Whenever I do a preview playback I hear my (mono) audio split over both speakers, and they seem to be ever so slightly out of sync (if at all) and create this weird effect - instead of sounding mono (from the middle). It's infuriating. It seems to do this randomly.

 

I know AE isn't ideal for audio but in my projects I do need to be able to use it. I've tried mono mp3s, aifs en wavs - I've also tried a stereo wav (the same mono track in both tracks) to no avail. I've tried upping the I/O Buffer size in the Audio Hardware settings, no difference. I've enabled the Cache before playback button and enabled and disabled the play audio in preview and it still messes up.

 

Sometimes it plays right after I've purged the image cache memory, and it'll be fine for a while, until it seemingly randomly goes back to weird sounding. Maybe it has something to do with the cache...?

 

It's 44100 Hz, 16-bit audio (mono).

 

AE 2017.1 (14.1.0.57)

Max OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Mac Pro (late 2013)

Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 external audio device

After Effects doesnt show the form's mask when I open the project

When I open AE shows this. "It was not possible to analyze the mask form in the transfer area"

Hello

I have some trouble to remove the plugin FxFactory

I use appcleaner to remove the plugin

but even there is no more file or folder of FxFactory

I still have in effect list FxFactory.

Someone know how to remove permanently ?

After Effect file size as gif

Hi All,

 

I'm hoping that you can help me. I am fairly new to After Effects as my client has asked me to make some little animations, based on a previous graphic, to embed on their website. The animations are 20 seconds long and on repeat.

 

To keep the file size low, I have the frame rate down to around 50fms with 0 lossy (Photoshop Gif). This brings the gif to what I feel is a sensible file size of just under 10MB.

 

Now enters the problem... It is working ok on Chrome, Firefox, Opera but on Safari, IE and Edge it is running choppy and slow for the first run through and then plays as it should. The quality of the choppiness is worse on IE and Edge however.

 

So these are my questions.
Is it the file size that is to big? Can you advise me on how big a gif should be?

Is it a browser thing? Not all browsers render the same...

Or is it a problem with their website and a developer needs to do something on their end? (For example caching) And if so what do I tell the developer???

Or should this not be a gif and is there a better way to save my movie and have it run smoothly?

Image sequence importing in reverse order

Hi.  I'm using a 3d program (Carrara) to export a

sequence of png files for a 3d animation.

 

There are 30 files / frames per second (labeled myfile1.png, myfile2.png, myfile3.png and so on), so a ten second clip has 300 separate pngs.

 

After effects is bringing these in in reverse order, so the animation is playing backwards.

 

Is there a simple way to automatically reverse the order of these images before or after I precompose these files into an animation?

Help, working with 360 video appears a vertical line

I was working with a 360 video it was displaying okay and I do not have idea what is happened suddenly appear a vertical line, I wasted a lot of time trying to fix it, then I closed that project and started a new one from zero, and the line still there, I try with different footage and appears the same problem. Please check the images bellow: I need help urgently please.

Render out of AE CC no h.264 option render queue

In cs6 you could directly render out of AE to h.264 via render queue.

Now there is no option in the dropdown, only avi, jpg sequence. dpx  etc. is this intentional to have to use AME to render out?

Why on Earth does "Replacing With After Effects Composition" give me sequences in AE instead of clips?!

Anybody know what's up with the "Replace With After Effects Composition" functionality, now? We were forced to "upgrade" to CC2017 from CC2015, and Adobe seems to have managed to somehow fart this up in the new versions.

I've got a basic Premiere sequence with an audio track, an h264 .MOV reference video, and the original clips needing VFX/Motion Graphics (in original, unmodified .R3D format). There are no plugins, filters or adjustment layers on any of the footage.

I right-click on the PPro timeline and choose "Replace With After Effects Composition" in order to bounce the files to AE. When they arrive in AE, for some ridiculous reason, the linked Comp doesn't contain, y'know, the actual footage as laid out in the PPro timeline; it inexplicably contains subcomps, which, in turn, have the footage inside. If I want to work with the footage itself, rather than the subcomps, I have to go into each of the subcomps, split the video layer at the appropriate time, copy and paste it back into the original Linked Comp, and shift it into place --- a huge PITA when you're dealing with a stack of, say, 5 or 10 layers.

In CC2015 and prior, this worked as expected: the Linked Comp that opened in AE would have the raw clips, laid out properly, not subcomped for some bizarre reason.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello there! My Name is Philip and i actually have a big problem... I am a Student and I run a youtubechannel next to my School. The problem which i have: Adobe AE is actually the best editing Programm which i could find on the Ethernet. I tested it and thought, thats what i need, but the problem is that I can´t afford it bc it is to expensive for me. I don´t have 24€ per month for a programm. I am sorry the programm would be really worth it but ist just to expensive for students like me. Isn´t there another way to get it LEGIT but maybe a Little bit cheaper? Like you pay once and you have it forever so you can avoid monthly rates. Or maybe a scmall Version which is cheaper but won´t have that much effects? I really like editing and i´will keep going, but AE would save me a lot of time bc it is so handy. Need help!

Why can't I see the top camera view?

Hi there,

I have adobe after effects via CC, so I think all of my updates are installed.  That said, recently I have been using a camera controlled by a 3D null object and while initially I was able to see the top view of the camera, now it appears as just a white box.  I have tried restarting ae, I've tried refreshing the 3D view, I have duplicated the comp, I have tried duplicating the null and camera layers and deleting the originals and nothing is helping to allow me to see the top view.  I have also scrolled through all of the other views and they are working fine.  Is there some other way to get this working?  Any thoughts would be great.

 

One other thing that may or may not be related is that the when I go to purge my disc cache and memory, that option is greyed out.  The the purge memory option is available and I have done that.  I find that when I purge the cache whatever issue I'm having, that usually solves it.  But this time, no dice.

 

It's finals week and I need to get this bad boy finished.  Help if you can.
