This is a picture of my screen. The video still plays fine, but as you can see, the content in the timeline has disappeared half way down which also means that I cannot change the duration of those layers. The content is still playable. The last layer with content is actually 1/2 showing and 1/2 invisible. I have tried the usual reboot, I cannot see any difference on the left side for the layers that show and those that don't. I only installed windows 10 yesterday and everything worked great for the first day of work. I have a deadline and right now I am pretty much stuck.

AE Skips first Second in Ram Preview
Since I have updated to Yosemite on my MacBook Retina i7 with 8gb of Ram AE (Recent Version) shows me a strange behavior. After the RAM Preview rendering is accomplished the ram preview should start on the beginning but it skipping the first second or so. This happens with every Ram Preview, no matter if i choose a specific zone or the beginning of the composition. The RAM Preview loops perfectly like always. It is really annoying.

Update 13.6.0.165 - Missing Value Slider
After updating to 13.6.0.165, there are no value sliders next to position, transparency, scale eat. anymore. This is a nightmare!
Anyone else facing this major issue?

AE 13.5-13.6 Audio Pops, Clicks and off tempo, is there any work around?
I was hoping 13.6 would have addressed this... but nothing. I haven't been able to use AE professionally since purchasing CC. I'm still forced to use CS6 because it can preview audio accurately. Does anyone know if there is a work around for this or a way to put my CC account on hold until they resolve this issue?

AE CC version 13.6.0.165 crashing constantly
Hi: I just updated the AECC yesterday (version 13.6) and I started to notice that AE crashes constantly without any reason and while using different projects.
In most cases the interface simply disappears and it doesn't even let me know that it crashed.
While I was using the previous version I had the occasional crash that most applications experience, but this "new behavior" is starting to be annoying.
Anybody else experiencing this problem? How can I return to previous version?
For those of you out there with the technical know-how, this is my system config: iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inch, late 2014).-El Capitan OSX- 4GHz Intel Core i7 / 32 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 / AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB.

Undo is broken after update
Everytime I hit UNDO in the latest AE, nothing happens. Version 13.0.6.165
System specs:

Why does adding a light turn screen black?
I'm working in After Effects CC, I've been learning it for a couple of weeks so I'm fairly new. There was one shot where I added a light and I had to learn that you have to change the layer into a 3D layer for the light to appear. Everything's easy peasey, but since then, I tried this on other shots, and all it does is turn the screen black no matter what I do. Has anyone else had this problem? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

ich habe neuerdings das Problem, dass ich After Effects und Premiere nicht mehr öffen kann. Es kommt die Fehermeldung:
Die Anwendung konnte nicht korrekt gestartet werden (0xc0000142).
Lightroom funktioniert ohne Probleme.
Ich habe die Anwedungen schon mehr mals neu installiert auch die komplette CC deinstalliert und den CC Cleaner drüber laufen lassen. Andere Anwendugen der Creativ Cloud habe ich noch nicht gestestet.
Betriebsystem ist Windows 10 64 bit mit den neusten Updates.

Error 0xc0000142 in After Effects
I have a problem with my After Effects. Whenever I try to open it it shows me this error: 0xc0000142. What causes this? I run on Windows 10. Some weeks ago, on Windoes 10 it seemed to be working fine. I did a format some days ago and since then I can't open it again. I have an AMD Atlon 62 x2 Dual Core processor 5600+ 2.79 GHz.

Undo is not working correctly in 13.6
If I add an effect to a layer, hit undo, the effect is still visible. If I put an image into the composition, hit undo, I still see the image even though the layer is gone. If I save it and reopen it, it's fine. Any solution to this without having to reopen my file every time to 'refresh' it?

Undo step not being updated in composition or preview window.
I have updated my after effects to latest build 13.6. Whenever I press Ctrl+Z or undo, the composition window does not show updated preview. When I then try purge option, then only it gets updated.
I have also cleared cache and database.
Any fix to this problem?

How can I reinstall AE 13.5 after 13.6 update?
Hello!
I have been having a lot of trouble with 13.6/2015.0.1 (cannot open AE at all), and frankly I cannot wait for the update to fix this issue (This program is my livelihood). I also in general do not feel comfortable updating AE at this time.
I need to reinstall 13.5 (2015.0) on my machine. I know how to reinstall previous versions of Adobe applications using the Creative Cloud Desktop Application, but I can't find AE 13.5. I can only find AE CC 2014.
Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you!

AE CC crashes while trying to open it.
Just updated AE CC yesterday and now it crashes while trying to open it. Error codes are: "invalid type conversion" and "Crash in progress Last logged message was <4812><ae.blitpipe><2> making new context". Any help??

After Effects CC 2015 view doesn't update
Hi there,
Running CC 2015 on windows 7 64 bit. Had this problem occasionally in cc before but seemingly twice as bad with the 13.6 update.
Everytime I make a change in the timeline (any change) it seems a bit of roulette whether or not the view window will update, especially if trying to undo. A change in resolution settings for the view window will temporarily update the view, but changing the resolution seems to go back to displaying outdated cached frames. Purging the cache has no effect either. The only solution so far seems to be a restart of After Effects which then updates with the correct view.
Before all this happens there's sometimes the "strange situation 0/1" warning.
Any help much appreciated, working to deadlines and having to restart After Effects every time you do a keyframe or change a layer is obviously frustrating!
